It all started when...

...a friend showed me that you could set up a camera in pitch black darkness and actually be able to produce a visible image via long shutter speeds; an image that showed actual detail! Well, that was absolutely mind blowing to me! With that simple demonstration, I was hooked & have been hooked ever since. 

I shoot landscape photography for the pure enjoyment of it and for getting to spend time in the "great outdoors." It's kind of a means to an end so-to-speak. I feel most at home in the mountains and find my time there rejuvenating to my spirit and soul. Being able to make images of my experiences is the icing on the cake.
